Hebrew Medley
- Composer
- David Bobrowitz
Two contrasting songs very important in Jewish culture are combined in this sparkling medley for band: Hatikvah and Artsa Alinu. Hatkivah, which means The Hope, is the national anthem of Israel. In a delightful juxtaposition, the lighthearted Artsa Alinu follows, a hora dance that brings the medley to a rousing conclusion. The arranger's immersion in Hebrew culture and his brilliance as an arranger make this setting an authentic musical delight!
