Fugue State
- Composer
- Matthew Schoendorff
In psychiatry, a fugue state refers to a temporary condition where the mind flees from reality, usually in response to some kind of trauma. Schoendorff uses fugal sections in this very original work to paint a musical picture of this psychological condition. Fugue State evolves as a musical flight through a series of sections in contrasting styles in an imaginative and fascinating musical scenario.
