Katie Variations
- Composer
- David Brinkman
The composer here paints an enchanting musical portrait of his granddaughter in her many moods. The innocence of youth is depicted in the opening theme, followed by variations in turn portraying a determined, marching Katie, a sultry Katie doing a Latin Dance in 5/4, a sleepy Katie lullaby, and a galloping Katie tearing madly around the house. Sheer musical fun that will lighten up any concert and put a collective smile on the face of the audience!
