Christmas Tidings

Based on the Christmas carol “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen”, this grade 1 arrangement features easy rhythms (quarter, half, dotted half, and whole notes), melody lines in all parts, some pizzicato, key of “e” minor and 4/4 time throughout, some divisi double stops in the cello part, and an optional piano part. Viola doubles 2nd violin, cello doubles bass.  Teachers and students will love how easily this piece comes together.  Audiences will be impressed with how advanced the group sounds!  This creative arrangement is sure to be a winner!
